ICOMM Consulting, Inc. is an independent, fee-based telecommunications consulting firm founded in 1987 and located in Oak Park, IL, a suburb of Chicago. ICOMM is engaged in various facets of telecommunications consulting, including local and long distance services analyses, phone system and call processing system vendor and system selections, integrated voice and data network design, and telecommunications management. As part of our expansion, we are seeking to fill the position of Analyst. The successful candidate for this position will possess the following characteristics:
- Knowledge of basic telephony concepts, including switched and dedicated network services, call switching systems (i.e., Hybrids, PBX's, etc.), call processing systems (i.e., voice mail systems, IVR systems, ACD systems, CTI)
- Knowledge of voice/data/video communications technologies, such as ATM, Frame Relay, Routers, Switches, ISDN, SONET, etc.
- Proficiency in basic PC software applications, such as spreadsheets, word processing software, etc.
- Strong technical and financial analytical skills
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- The ability to manage several projects and activities simultaneously
This Analyst position entails providing ongoing support to ICOMM's telecommunications management clients in the areas of information gathering, technical and financial analyses of existing services and vendor proposals, coordination of system and service implementations, and communications with clients and vendors.
We are looking for an individual with the desire to learn and grow into the position of Consultant, which would entail the ability to handle client projects without direct supervision.
Compensation will be a combination of salary and incentive pay, based on experience, expertise, and productivity. Medical insurance and a 401(k) plan are also provided.
