Technologies Analyst

ICOMM Consulting is an independent, fee-based consulting firm specializing in telecommunications and Contact Center technologies. Since 1987, ICOMM has provided valuable consulting services to small and large corporations, associations and government agencies. We have provided services for client sites in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, Canada and Mexico. Our clients are engaged in many areas of the economy, including Financial Services, Distribution, and E-Commerce.

We provide the following services to our clients: Contact Center Consulting, Network Services Consulting, Technology Planning and Communications Management Outsourcing. We are currently expanding our practice in the areas of contact center and telephony technologies consulting.

As part of our expansion, we are seeking to fill the position of Technologies Analyst. The successful candidate for this position will possess the following characteristics:

Knowledge of basic networking concepts, including LAN and WAN technologies such as Ethernet, TCP/IP, LAN Switching, Routing, Frame Relay Service and ATM;

Working administrative knowledge of Windows NT and/or Windows 2000 server;

  • Strong working knowledge of desktop PC installation and support;
  • Experience with Network Design, Implementation and support of LAN/WAN environments;
  • Working knowledge of VPNs, Remote Access, firewalls and other network security technologies;
  • Knowledge of basic telephony concepts and technologies, including experience with CTI applications and concepts;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other standard desktop applications;
  • Strong technical and financial analytical skills;
  • Strong written and oral communications skills;
  • The ability to manage several projects and activities simultaneously.

This Technologies Analyst position entails providing consulting and implementation services to clients in all areas of ICOMM’s practice, with a particular focus on contact center and telephony technologies.

Compensation will be a combination of salary and incentive pay, based on experience, expertise, and productivity. Medical insurance and a 401(k) plan are also provided.
